Airbus Defence and Space showcases its cyber security solutions to combat growing cyber threat at the Gisec 2014 IT security exhibition in Dubai

Latest solution Keelback provides effective protection to advanced persistent cyber threats

Airbus Defence and Space is highlighting its cyber security solutions at Gisec 2014, the IT security exhibition in Dubai, from the 9th to 11th of June. Given the increasing dangers posed by advanced persistent cyber threats (APTs) the company demonstrates its cyber defence offering capable to combat these threats.
Advanced persistent cyber attacks are tailor-made to steal sensitive information or intellectual property from their targets. These attacks represent a real danger to all organisations and hence must be fought at various levels of the targeted company’s network. To this purpose, Airbus Defence and Space presents its latest offer for detecting and fighting these kind of attacks on IT-networks of a targeted company. This latest solution , named Keelback, provides continuous monitoring, threat intelligence, malware investigations and immediate alarms in case of attacks via the networks or directly on the hosts. Security software called Stormshield from the Airbus Defence and Space companies Netasq and Arkoon completes this cyber defence offering, providing endpoint security solutions that protect client workstations and servers from cyber attacks by blocking APTs.

Guy Meguer, Airbus Defence and Space General Manager in Middle East for CyberSecurity said: “Our innovation is focused on delivering security without compromise to companies of all sizes against ever more frequent and prominent attacks, including APTs. Our solutions provide the highest standards of reliability and ensure that the most sensitive information can be adequately protected against security breaches. “
