Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Gold sponsor at the European Cyber Week 2023 in Rennes, France
For its eighth edition, Rennes will host the European Cyber Week from 21 to 23 November 2023!
This prestigious event is organised by Pôle d’excellence cyber and its partners, including Airbus.
Over the course of three days, there’ll be a total of 15 events on offer, covering the hottest cyber security threats and innovations. Our cyber experts will be involved in the following sessions and initiatives:
Capture The Flag: 22 November (Cyber Challenge)
Follow the live final of the ultimate challenge for European cyber security will take! Watch as they battle to fight an incredibly powerful AI agent, “ALICE”, initially designed to monitor and protect Europe’s critical information systems, that took control of important information systems and launched massive cyber-attacks causing significant damage.
The qualification phase for this challenge has already begun. The top 72 participants will be divided into several teams made up of four participants, will have the opportunity to compete in the final, organised by Airbus Defence and Space Cyber, Thalès, Diateam, Amossys, Yogosha and Seela.
Once again, the challenge will be hosted on Airbus Defence and Space Cyber’s CyberRange training platform. The platform’s high-performance servers will host and launch multiple virtualised and hybrid training information systems in parallel.

Technical Workshop : How a cyber attack can support influence campaigns?
22 November from 3:30 to 4:30
Don’t miss our workshop, during which we will present an operational scenario combining a cyber attack with an influence campaign on social networks. This presentation will also highlight the tools that can be used to prepare, anticipate and react rapidly to these hybrid threats.
European-Day : ECYSAP
22 November from 9:30 to 12:30PM
As part of the European Cyber Week, Airbus is leading the European – ECYSAP event, which aims to understand:
- Digital sovereignty: how to reinforce France and European autonomy?
- How the European Union supports the cyber defense of its political and programmatic operations,
- How their implementation is designed for joint operations between European member States.
The event will be attended by top-level speakers, such as Mrs Anne Le Hénanff, Member of the Parliament, GDI Aymeric Bonnemaison, Commander of Cyber Defence – Ministry (COMCYBER France) and Brigadier General Sean White (EU Military Staff).
The 2023 meeting will respond to these challenges and illustrate industrial cooperation:
- Through the presentation of the industrial set-up and technical architecture of the ECYSAP (European Cyber Situational Awareness Platform) project,
- A demonstration of use cases.
