The rise of information warfare
The digital environment is increasingly targeted by disinformation campaigns and data breaches. Human analysis is no longer sufficient to counter the massive spread of manipulated information, especially with the rise of AI-driven technologies such as 'deepfakes'. In response to these evolving threats, robust information crisis management has become essential.
Building on our experience in the field of cybersecurity, defence and intelligence, we have developed a new approach to automate information incident management, while minimising implementation costs and timescales. We provide integrated, end-to-end technical and operational capabilities for both civilian and military domains.

The European Cyber and Information Warfare Toolbox
EUCINF
Airbus Defence and Space coordinates the EUCINF project, which aims to address the challenges of cognitive warfare through AI-based technologies.
The consortium brings together experts from 12 countries and 22 partners specialising in Information Warfare, AI and cybersecurity, with the objective of rapidly detecting and fighting disinformation campaigns.
To meet the requirements of participating Ministries of Defence and civilian stakeholders, specific case studies are conducted on a dedicated experimental platform. The EUCINF project demonstrates its relevance and effectiveness at the strategic, operational and tactical levels, in the context of Information Warfare combined with Computer Network Defence.
*EUCINF project is co-funded by European Union under grant agreement N°101121418.
